Crypto prop firm rules at SabioTrade

Crypto at SabioTrade runs under the same evaluation rules as forex, with leverage capped at 1:3. The rules that bite hardest on coins are the 5% daily loss, the 55% single-trade cap and the ban on bots and scalping.

Volatility against a fixed limit

Bitcoin and Ethereum can move several percent in a session. The daily limit does not scale with volatility. At 1:3, a position worth the full cap loses 5% of equity on a 1.7% adverse move. At one third of the cap, the same 5% needs a 5% move.

Rules that change crypto habits

  • Bots and API trading need prior written permission.
  • Scalping strategies are prohibited.
  • A single trade may not exceed 55% of total profit, so one spike cannot carry the evaluation.
  • The trailing drawdown is 6% from the high water mark, on equity.

Generic crypto prop firm checks

Whatever firm you pick, check four things: leverage on crypto, whether weekend trading is allowed, whether bots are allowed, and whether the daily limit is measured on balance or equity. At SabioTrade the site answers all four: 1:3, weekend holding allowed per the plan table, bots only with written permission, limits checked on equity. More: daily loss limit, consistency calculator.
